The Charlotte Hornets’ season tips off tomorrow evening against the Brooklyn Nets, which means it’s as good a time as any to share what our coverage of the team will look like this season.

It’s not exactly breaking news, but ‘Nata Edwards is bringing his “Dispatches From Spectrum” series to SportCLT. I’ve always appreciated his perspective and analysis and was a big fan of his Dispatches last year.

We’re going to have an incredible lineup of podcasting talent at SportCLT this season. You’ll have three shows a week from us, featuring both upcoming and established voices in the Charlotte Hornets media space.
On Mondays, “Inside the Hive” with Greyson Tappy

Post-Game Spaces
We’re also bringing a post-game experience to our social media. Our own Jack Hooper is going to be hosting a Twitter spaces post-game to recap what went on. You’ll be able to jump in and join the conversation.
Hive Mind
We’re excited to be debuting a new series in the near future, Hive Mind CLT, run by our own Dane McMillan. Imagine a Hornets-centric version of ESPN’s old 5-on-5 series. We’ll be bringing that to your inbox very soon, featuring SportCLT voices as well as some others around the Hornets media sphere.

There’s much more in the works for this upcoming season, but I wanted to write of what we’ve been working to put together for this season. I really do think it all adds up to be the best coverage of the Hornets that anyone has right now.
