How Many Hornets Are Safe? Offseason Roster Survival Odds

The NBA offseason is well underway, and with the Hornets finishing among the most promising mid-tier teams this past season, many have pointed out that Charlotte could be among the more aggressive teams in gearing up their roster this offseason.

I’ve written pretty extensively about how Hornets GM Jeff Peterson is going to be patient in the trade market with this roster, and that Charlotte is likely to use both of their top-20 draft selections this summer.

But if a trade does come, who would be out the door? Who will the Hornets re-sign?

Many point to expiring contracts like Miles Bridges, Josh Green, and Grant Williams as potential outgoing salary to bring in a bigger fish, but will Charlotte actually be aggressive in making a trade?

Here is my prediction on every Charlotte Hornets player, and whether they are safe from being traded (or allowed to hit the open market in free agency).
