Charlotte Hornets Playoff Rooting Guide (3/30-4/5)
Who Hornets fans should be pulling for this week for optimital playoff positioning
Coming off a disappointing end to what was otherwise a very successful home stretch, the Hornets are still in the thick of the seeding race at the bottom of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Although the loss to Philly cost the Hornets a potentially valuable tiebreaker over the 76ers, and the loss to Boston certainly did not help the cause, the Hornets remain within striking distance of reaching the 7/8 seed play-in game. Or at minimum, at least a chance at the 9 seed to earn homecourt advantage in the 9/10 seed play-in match. Either way, every game from here on out is essentially a playoff game for the bugs in a race to try to position themselves to qualify for the 1st Round of the playoffs for the first time since the 2015-2016 season.
